Biography

Vijaya is a compassioante paediatrician who had trained in both Cambridge and Oxford University Hospitals at various stages of pediaric training since 2003. Before relocating to India, she had been a Consultant Paediatrician at the Children's Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust providing Community Paediaric service. She has specialised in diagnosisng and managing kids with developmental delay, Autism, ADHD, movement disorders etc. Her vision is to replicate the same holistic and multidisciplinary compassionate care she is trained and nurtured to give in oxford to her patients in Chennai. 

Vijay passed MBBS from Annamalai University in 1999 with distinction medal in her final year. She then did 2 years of Postgraduate training at the Institute of Child Health, Egmore, Chennai where she gained tremendous clinical experience in Indian setting. After moving to England in 2003, she has trained in Cambridge, King's Lynn and since 2008 moved to Oxford, where she completed her highter specialist training. She still maintains a Honorary Consultant Contract with the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
